In exciting news, Envevo have wholly acquired Advance Product Services (APS), an electronics engineering company with a 22-year history specialising in the repair and maintenance of industrial DC equipment.

This move increases Envevo’s service offering to clients, adding both reactive and preventative maintenance services to the company’s already market leading EV ICP and full turnkey delivery. Adding this key service enables Envevo to offer customers a fully end-to-end service, ensuring that one company can provide all the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance services for the lifespan of client’s chargers.

Founded in 2019, Envevo have gone on to become the UK’s leading EV turnkey provider, working with such clients as BP, Shell and GRIDSERVE.

Envevo operate UK-wide, having delivered charging schemes in 69 cities across the country, from the Highlands of Scotland to the southern tip of England, and everywhere in between. This latest acquisition means that Envevo now have offices in Scotland, Northern England, South-West England and London, providing truly national coverage.

Envevo CEO Michael KennedyWe are delighted to complete the acquisition of APS. Their experience in DC charging and DC power systems is second to none and ensures we can provide our maintenance customers with the highest level of quality that they expect from the Envevo brand. Their unique approach to maintenance, using their electronics engineering background to understand the chargers in greater depth, combined with their position as official service partner to many of the significant OEMs in the market, means that we believe we are now the only company on the market providing truly ‘preventative’ maintenance – diagnosing faults before they occur. This work has the potential to significantly extend the lifespan of our client’s assets. We look forward to welcoming APS and their staff to the Envevo group in what is an exciting time for both companies. This acquisition will allow us to provide our customers a truly holistic, end-to-end, EV installation and maintenance service.”

Advanced Product Services are an electronics engineering company based in Harrogate, Yorkshire, who have been operating in the AC-DC power conversion space for over 20 years.

APS are the official service partners of many of the largest charge-point OEMs, including ABB, Delta, Alpitronic and Tritium. To date they have carried out maintenance and repairs on over 2,000 DC chargers UK-wide.

APS’ dynamic, proactive inspection, reconditioning and operational checks are industry leading, using both their own engineering experience and their close working relationships with OEMs to ensure charge-point lifespans are maximised through early diagnosis and remedy of potentially critical faults.

APS’ Paul HornerWe are absolutely thrilled to be joining the Envevo Group. Envevo’s market leading capability as a NERS accredited ICP, designer and builder of charging infrastructure alongside their resolute focus on quality form a perfect synergy with APS’s capabilities in commissioning, reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance services.

I firmly believe the group’s in-house ability to offer full turnkey solutions from initial design concept right through to maximizing critical uptime of assets for years to come is unsurpassed in the industry.  To have the resources and assurance of consistent safety and quality standards throughout will be of great value to CPOs, OEMs and private operators alike with the capability to accelerate EV infrastructure roll-out requirements nationwide.”

This acquisition is the second in Envevo’s future growth strategy, following on from the recent acquisition of EV installation provider SRG Electrical, strengthening the group’s commitment to securing additional expertise, increasing delivery capabilities, and expanding the group into new sectors.
