APS joined Envevo in 2024, bringing specialist power supply repair and maintenance expertise into our organisation. Their team and technical capability have strengthened Envevo’s in-house engineering support and enhanced the services we can offer our customers.
Since the integration, we’ve invested in a dedicated in-house maintenance lab and new equipment, further expanding our repair and maintenance capability. It’s the same practical, engineering-led approach our customers rely on – now delivered through one unified Envevo team.
A new lab, the same specialist know-how
All power supply repair and maintenance work is now carried out from Envevo’s in-house maintenance lab in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
The lab has been set up specifically to support fault-finding, repair, refurbishment, testing and replacement of power supply units and EV charging equipment. With new specialist test equipment and experienced engineers on hand, we’re able to diagnose issues quickly and get units back into service with minimal downtime.
Keeping everything in-house means better control over quality, faster turnaround times, and clear visibility from inspection through to testing and sign-off.
Power supply unit (PSU) repairs
When a power supply fails, replacement isn’t always the only , or best, option.
We operate a ‘No Fix, No Fee’ policy on repairs. If we’re unable to repair your item, we only charge return carriage to send it back to you.
Our engineers carry out specialist PSU power supply repairs, assessing each unit to determine whether it can be safely and reliably repaired. Where repair is viable, this can significantly extend the life of equipment and reduce unnecessary cost.
Every repaired unit is fully tested in our lab before being returned to site, giving confidence that it’s ready to go back into operation.
We warrant any item that has been repaired or refurbished by Envevo for 12 months. If an item fails due to faulty workmanship or materials provided by the Company, we will rectify the defect at our premises.
Obsolete PSU replacements (form-fit solutions)
In some cases, power supply units are no longer supported or simply can’t be repaired.
Where that happens, we carry a range of form-fit replacement units – modern equivalents that match the original footprint and interfaces. This allows obsolete units to be replaced without major redesign or disruption to the wider system.
It’s a practical way to keep existing infrastructure running while avoiding the cost and complexity of full system replacement.

EV charging commissioning, maintenance and repair
Alongside power supply services, Envevo also provides EV charging commissioning, maintenance and repair across depot, fleet and commercial charging environments.
From initial commissioning through to planned maintenance and reactive repairs, our teams support charging infrastructure throughout its operational life – helping keep systems safe, compliant and available when they’re needed most.
